ZobeLab is proud to introduce the ZobeLab Music Grant Competition — a unique opportunity designed to support and uplift independent artists, music professionals, and startups who are shaping the future of the music industry.

 

Through this ongoing initiative, ZobeLab will award grants to deserving individuals and organizations who demonstrate creativity, drive, and dedication to advancing their music careers or businesses. The competition is open to independent artists, producers, DJs, educators, consultants, and music startups that align with our mission of empowering the independent music community.

 

Our first round of grants will award:

• $500 to a music artist/creative, and

• $1,000 to a music startup/organization that shows strong potential and interest in partnering with ZobeLab.

 

Future rounds will feature different grant amounts and may include specialized categories for music technology, artist development, education, and more.

Participation in the ZobeLab Music Grant Competition isn’t just about applying — it’s about taking action.

 

To qualify, participants will market and promote ZobeLab in creative ways to help spread awareness about our platform, community, and mission. The more effectively you promote, the higher your chances of winning.

 

Your efforts not only boost your eligibility but also demonstrate your ability to market yourself — one of the most important skills for success in today’s music industry.

Eligibility & Requirements

 

To be fully eligible, participants must:

1. Register through the ZobeLab platform for the Music Grant Competition.

2. Download the ZobeLab App (available on Google Play and Apple App Stores).

3. Create a ZobeLab user profile (artist, professional, or startup).

4. Follow ZobeLab on social media (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).

5. Actively promote ZobeLab using at least three of the promotional methods listed below.

6. Submit a brief update report (with screenshots or links) showing how you promoted ZobeLab along with a written statement explaining why you should win the grant, what you would use it for, and what your goals are within the industry.

Easy Ways to Promote ZobeLab

 

Participants may fulfill their promotional requirement using any combination of the following methods:

 

1. Social Media Promotion

• Create original posts, Reels, or Stories promoting ZobeLab and tag @ZobeLabApp.

• Signup for the ZobeLab Marketing Affiliate Program on our website (another way to make money with ZobeLab) and share your ZobeLab custom referral link with your followers.

• Use the hashtags #ZobeLab #EmpoweringIndependents #MusicTech #IndieMusicCommunity #EdTech #JoinZobeLab.

 

2. Video or Short-Form Content

• Create a short video explaining why you joined ZobeLab or how it helps the music community.

• Post your video on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts using the official hashtags.

 

3. Word-of-Mouth Referrals

• Invite other artists, producers, or industry professionals to register and join ZobeLab.

• Earn additional recognition for each person who joins through your referral link.

 

4. Blog or Article Feature

• Write a short blog post or article about ZobeLab (e.g., on Medium, LinkedIn, or your website).

• Share your post link in your ZobeLab submission entry.

 

5. Event or Collaboration

• Mention ZobeLab during a live performance, podcast, or interview and record it and share it with us.

• Tag ZobeLab in your show recap or event promo post.

Selection Criteria

 

Submissions will be reviewed based on:

• Creativity and effort in promotion

• Audience engagement and impact

• Relevance to the independent music community

• Authenticity and alignment with ZobeLab’s mission

 

ZobeLab’s team will evaluate entries and announce the winners via the platform, social media, and email.

🏆 $500 Music Artist Grant – for the top-performing independent artist.
