Welcome to ZobeLab. These Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZobeLab mobile application and services (“Platform” or “Service”). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Platform.

1. About ZobeLab
ZobeLab is a music technology platform designed for the independent music community. Our mission is to empower artists, producers, DJs, labels, and other creators with tools, education, resources, and services to succeed in the music industry.

Platform Sections Include:

• Zobe Academy: Online education for independent artists and professionals, offering courses on music business, song production, artist development, touring, monetization, and more.

• Zobe Studio: Tools and virtual services for music production, engineering, recording, beat creation, sound design, and more.

• Zobe Marketplace: A space to buy/sell beats, services, opportunities, digital downloads, music career tools/guides, and more.

• ZobeVerse: A metaverse/music community space for interactive virtual experiences, events, live showcases, fan engagement, networking, and more.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the app, or accessing any part of ZobeLab, you confirm
that:

• You are at least 13 years old (16 or 18 in some jurisdictions) or have parental/guardian consent.

• You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

 

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. 

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

ZobeLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or at their own discretion.

 

4. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

• Post or upload content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes on others’ rights.

• Engage in harassment, abuse, impersonation, or fraud.

• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with platform operations.

• Spam, solicit, or exploit other users without consent.

 

5. Intellectual Property

A. Ownership
All content, branding, features, and functionality of ZobeLab (excluding user-generated or partner-generated content) are the exclusive property of ZobeLab, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and
intellectual property laws.

B. User-Generated Content
You retain rights to the content you upload (music, text, artwork), but by uploading, you grant
ZobeLab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and
promote such content within the platform and outside the platform.

 

6. Platform Transactions and Payments

• ZobeLab may offer free or paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

• All payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

• Prices are subject to change with notice.

• No refunds will be issued except as required by law or stated in a specific policy.

7. Educational Content Disclaimer
Information and materials provided through Zobe Academy or other sections are for informational purposes only. ZobeLab makes no guarantees of career or financial outcomes. Always seek professional advice when making decisions related to your career or business.

 

8. Third-Party Services and Links
ZobeLab may contain links or integrations to third-party platforms (e.g., payment gateways, DSPs, social networks). ZobeLab is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of such services. Use them at your own risk.

 

9. Modification of Terms and Services
ZobeLab reserves the right to:

• Modify these Terms at any time.

• Change or discontinue features, tools, or sections of the platform without notice.

Material changes will be notified via the app or email. Continued use after changes implies

acceptance.

 

10. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if:

• You violate these Terms.

• Your account is inactive for an extended period.

• We decide to discontinue the Platform.

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you terminate immediately.

 

11. Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind.

• ZobeLab does not guarantee uptime, performance, or that content will be error-free.

• You use the Platform at your own risk.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZobeLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of revenue or profits

• Business interruption

• Data loss

• Unauthorized access

 

13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ZobeLab, its affiliates, employees, and
partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of:

• Your use of the Platform

• Your content

• Violation of these Terms

• Violation of third-party rights

 

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, USA.

 

15. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice
If you believe that any content on ZobeLab infringes your copyright, please send a notice to
team@zobelab.com with:

• Your name and contact information

• Description of the copyrighted work

• URL or location of the infringing material

• Statement of good faith and accuracy

 

16. App Store Terms (Apple & Google)
By downloading the App from the App Store or Google Play:

• You acknowledge their terms also apply.

• They are not responsible for support or claims relating to ZobeLab.

17. Beta Features
Some features may be in beta and may not perform as expected. Use of such features is voluntary and provided “as-is” with no warranties.

 

18. International Users
ZobeLab is controlled and operated from the U.S. Users from outside the U.S. do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
